AUDITION ELIGIBILITY
- Singers who will be in grades 4, 5 and 6 for the Elementary Choir
- Singers who will be in grades 7, 8, or 9 for the Middle School/Junior High Choir
- Singers who will be in grades 10,11,or 12 for the High School Choir
- Collegiate Singers or Community/Church Singers ages 19+ for the Collegiate/Community Choir
- Applications can be submitted through Submittable until September 30th, 2023
- Singers must be members in good standing of their sponsoring musical organizations
- Singers must be sponsored by a current ACDA member.
TENTATIVE TIMELINE
- August 2023: Information on fees, procedures, protocols released
- September 30th, 2023: Applications deadline
- October 1-15: Screening/adjudication
- October 20: Sponsors and applicants notified of acceptance
- November 5: Commitment forms and payment are due
- December 1: Music and learning tracks are released to those who have turned in forms and fees
ONLINE AUDITION PROCESS
- Online applications will be made on the Submittable site
- The Sponsor (and the applicant with their parents as necessary) submits an online application.
- Include a non-refundable application fee of $20.00 paid online (credit card only, group payments available)
- For Middle/Jr High, High School and Collegiate/Community honor choirs, a sound file(s) is required as part of the application. Do not state the singer’s name, sponsor name, or organization for any uploaded recordings
