Like many communications we are all giving and receiving these days, I am beginning with “Due to Covid-19 considerations and uncertainties”:
1. We will be requiring proof of vaccination for all Honor Choir participants.
2. High School-aged singers will have the option to room as quadruples (4 to a room with 2 beds) or to come with their own chaperone/family, with fees commensurate with their choice. Note that Junior High/Middle School singers are required to have their own chaperone/family for the event.
3. With vaccination for those younger than 12 still unapproved for the foreseeable future, we are suspending the Elementary Festival Choir for the 2022 conference. (We are hoping to include sessions at our conference specifically for teacher-conductors of elementary-aged singers headlined by our intended Festival choir conductor, Sophia Papoulis.)
4. We have added 6th graders to the Junior High Honor Choir, making it a Junior High/Middle School Honor Choir.
