Min Nam

Mrs. Min Nam, director, is the choral director at Cabin John Middle School in Potomac, Maryland. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has achieved numerous superior ratings for her choirs at county, state, and interstate festivals. Mrs. Nam is recognized for her passion for sharing knowledge, as she presents at state-level reading conferences. She is also sought after as a mentor and adjudicator for middle school-level ensembles and festivals.

Mrs. Nam’s ensemble was recently selected to perform at the All-Eastern ACDA Conference, a distinguished honor that speaks to the exceptional level of artistry and dedication her students bring to every performance. In addition to her work as an educator, Mrs. Nam is stepping into the role of composer with her debut composition, Hope, Fly In — a deeply personal work through which she hopes to share the beauty of her own story and inspire ensembles across the country to make it their own.
Actively involved in professional organizations such as NAfME, MMEA, and ACDA, Mrs. Nam remains a passionate and far-reaching contributor to the music education community.
